Good Read 2: 15 things all dads with daughters should know

Hello!

It's nice to be back from being silent for a while, I just needed the time to think (lol), I just wasn't  in the mood to write (you know, lazy problems).

So now that I'm back, I am going to share with you some of the things that I've been doing while I was out of reach, haha!

I am going to share with you about my mag-ama, but before that let me show you their photos together.
this was taken on our way to the church

this was when we went to chocolate hills, with the BANGS!

Aren't they adorable? hehe, of course I adore them, hello? But seriously, their father and daughter relationship is kinda funny. They may get along well but most of the time , it's full of drama and argument.

And then I've come to read this article here which made me realize on a lot of things.

The title of the article is 15 Things All Dads with Daughters Should Know by Justin Ricklefs. Dads should read this, its really enlightening.

I will definitely print this one so that Papay can read and eventually learn from this. One point that really interest me is You have an influence on her future partner, hmm..so you better do good Pay if you want our daughter to marry a good man, be a good man, in short set the standard for your daughter, I always tell him that.

I've always read that daughters tend to be more close to their father than to their mother, but in our case it's not all true all the time because our daughter is becoming more like me, lol! She's just five years old but she acts maturely for her age. We find it funny but it really isn't. This is a usual scenario in our house..

Papay: I'll just go to a friend for a while, I'll be back before you know I was even gone.
Mit2: You always say that! You even said you'll just be in the CR but then you never came back until morning! (with the tone and the face, take note)

It makes me smile because let's face it, we find it cute that babies act like us adults, but when I come to think of it, it really scares me. It made me question, did I raise her well? Will she grow up to be respectful to elders especially to us parents? I've shared so much already, I think our parenting issue deserves another blog entry, agree?

The bottom line here is that, (read the article, it's the title of this blog entry anyway. haha!) us mothers should encourage our husbands to be present to our daughters' needs, may it be advice, companion or someone to listen to their unending stories (you know how girls can be). A father is a significant person to our daughter and whoever she will become and whatever she become, You as a father has a big part of it.

Thanks, till then!
