A Glimpse of my 2019

A year after Tatay suffered from stroke, the whole family has to adjust our daily routine in order to accommodate Tatay's needs. Everything became pretty normal to us except the occasional visits to the hospital because with Tatay's condition, he is so vulnerable to sickness. Financially struggling but we made it through every time and we have God to thank for for all of that. He has shown us the means and the people to help us with our needs. He never left us during these difficult times. I can say that during these times, my faith became stronger and I learned to open up life to other people. I learned to humble down and accept that it is not wrong to accept help from other people. Though, physically and mentally tired- we clung unto God and to each other and drew strength from each other.

Despite the hardships of 2019, I am still grateful that God stayed by my side and helped me get on through every trial. Thank you Lord.

March of 2019 was so sad for the whole Bustamante clan because our dear Nanay Valen passed away. With heavy hearts we bade her goodbye and all that is left on us are our memories of how she is as a loving, doting and ever so gentle Nanay. She will be missed terribly. After Nanay died, everything was never the same again.

That sums up my 2019, so many heartaches but still optimistic for a brighter days ahead of us.
Thank you God for a very colorful 2019.
